Our Mission

BioFiber Lab specializes in medical biomaterial and produces medical devices like hemostatic blocks and absorbant dressings from natural polymer fibers. 

BioFiber Lab's patented copper ions bonded fiber CAZ was found while developing new material for artificial skin and absorbable suture materials.

In the wake of COVID-19, BioFiber Lab sought to confirm whether CAZ's virucidal properties could inactivate the COVID-19 virus. Immediate steps for certification were taken. 6 tests were taken from labs that could conduct tests with the COVID-19 virus, and the results were crosschecked. 

After 7-8 months of strict protocol testing, it became clear: CAZ could inactivate the COVID-19 virus.

But was this something only limited to CAZ? Wouldn't there be other products that have similar capabilities? 

After looking through more than a hundred other products, it was concluded that unfortunately, there weren't any that were certified to have similar properties to CAZ. Currently CAZ is the only product that is certified to have properties that work against the COVID-19 virus. 

BioFiber Lab believes CAZ is a gift, and we are the deliverers. The recipients should be everyone trying to keep safe from the pandemic. We believe it is our duty to deliver this gift on time.
